Hyaluronic Acid Fillers

Before & After

By Dr. Nektarios Logaras – Dermatologist / Venereologist.

Hyaluronic acid is a natural endogenous structural component of the skin. Hyaluronic acid has the unique ability to hold up to 1000 times its weight in water, is a natural skin moisturizer. With its presence, the skin is firm, elastic, smooth, soft and beautiful. Over time, the production of hyaluronic acid in our skin decreases. The gradual reduction of hyaluronic acid in the skin, the repeated facial expressions, the loss of fat in the deeper parts of the face, has the effect of altering the facial features, forming deep wrinkles and folds whereas the vigorous oval shape of the face is altered. Hyaluronic Acid gel that is injected into the skin lifts it internally and replenishes the lost volume.

The placement of Hyaluronic acid filler deeply into the skin achieves:
-Deep hydration that no cream has the ability to achieve.
-It corrects deep wrinkles
-It increases and reshapes the lips volume
-It repairs the lost volume in the cheekbones (cheeks)
-It lifts cheeks
-It redefines the facial contour.

Areas that can be improved with Hyaluronic Acid:

-Smile (or Laugh) Lines, Smoker’s Wrinkles, Crow’s Feet Wrinkles, Forehead Wrinkles, Glabella Wrinkles, Mouth Angles (Marionnette Lines), Neck, Neckline (Décolleté)
-Volume increase in Cheekbones, Cheeks, Lips, Chin

-Under the Eyes, Eye ‘Bags’, Deep Dark Circles
-Nonsurgical Correction of the Nasal Deformity
-Mouth Angles

The duration of the result depends on many factors, such as the material, the area to be placed, the smoking, the sun exposure, the sauna, the use of alcohol, drugs, etc. The duration of the result ranges from 9 to 18 months. On the first session, we will discuss about your needs and the areas of the face that you would like to improve. With the new achievement of VECTRAH2 Technology, we are given the opportunity to present the changes of your face, before the placement of the Hyaluronic Acid filler using the 3D Imaging Simulation.

The result is Instantly Visible and Natural

What is recommended before treatment:

One week before the application of Hyaluronic Acid, it is important to avoid the use of Aspirin, Anti-Inflammatory and Anticoagulants drugs in order to reduce to a minimum the possibility of bruising at the injection sites.
For the same reason, it is also recommended to avoid alcohol up to two days before..

During treatment:

The Hyaluronic Acid that we use contains Lidocaine (local anesthetic) and the area to be applied is prepared using an anesthetic cream. This achieves a painless treatment.

What is recommended after treatment:

After treatment with Hyaluronic Acid, there may be slight discomfort, swelling and redness which subside the next day.

The following should be avoided:

-The exposure to extreme cold and heat (e.g. sauna, steam baths, and UV radiation) for the next 7 days
-The alcohol consumption up to 48 hours after treatment
-The exercise for the next 7 days
-The contact on the lips for 24 hours after treatment with Hyaluronic Acid
