The treatment is painless, with local anesthesia, without bleeding, in the doctor’s office and with immediate return to daily activities. The patient walks immediately after treatment and it’s very impressive that the callus is permanently sublimed once and for all, unless you have a musculoskeletal problem.

The callus evaporation means that the damage from its solid form passes directly to the air, omitting the intermediate form which is the liquid one. After the laser treatment, the skin heals quickly, does not bleed, does not leak fluid, is not red with inflammation, does not hurt, does not recur.

The only limitation after the Laser treatment is that the skin in the area where the callus was should remain dry, with as little moisture as possible for 2-3 weeks  until it heals completely. Also, in order to speed up the healing, a topical antibiotic ointment should be applied, and covered with an adhesive patch.

Advices  to treat – avoid  calluses.

• Soak the area in warm water
• File with a pumice stone
• Be careful not to take off too much skin
• Apply moisturizing lotion or cream
• Use Padding
• Wear shoes that properly fit
• Shop for shoes at the end of the day
• Ask a clerk to measure your foot
• Choose shoes thataren’t too loose or tight
• Keep your toenails trimmed
• Prefer sneakers – leather shoes, in our correct size, to be anatomical, soft and comfortable.
